We are proud to announce that we are now able to offer seed of some of the most advanced speciality Primula breeding lines available anywhere in the world. These include the first series of the traditional Jackanapes primulas to come true from seed and the renowned YOU AND ME™ series of hose-in-hose polyanthus. We are pleased to invite you to view our new, fully illustrated Primula section.
Many customers have requested the we add online ordering to the website. To avoid disruption, we have created a brand new site, www.sweetpea-seed.com which has an integrated shopping cart and secure online payment system. The new site offers a slightly wider range of seeds and benefits from some improved photographs and descriptions.
We have added a new page with more details about the popular perennial species, Lathyrus nervosus
The display of our "Antique" varieties staged by Simon Crawford at the RHS Wisley Flower Show was awarded a coveted RHS GOLD MEDAL.
Our new booklet The Grandiflora Sweet Peas is now available by mail order from the Owl's Acre Studio website, or from the RHS shop at the RHS Gardens, Wisley.
This website has now been visited by people in over 150 different countries.
A directory of sweet pea varieties is now available giving concise details of a very large number of sweet pea cultivars, listed alphabetically.
A set of high quality greetings cards, notelets and paintings by Maggie Goodsell can be seen at the Owl's Acre Studio website. Many feature sweet peas and would make charming gifts.
