Eclipse
A deep mauve sweet pea bred by Bill Laidlaw and introduced by Unwins in 1974. Among the top ten exhibition varieties in the 1990s, it won the NSPS Clay Cup for the best vase in the National Show in 1986. Still regarded as the best sweet pea of its colour, and strongly scented.
